Luca Filippi (born 9 August 1985 in Savigliano, Piedmont, Italy) is an Italian racing driver, who competed in seven successive seasons of the FIA GP2 Series between 2006 and 2012.[1] Runner-up to Romain Grosjean in the 2011 edition of GP2, Filippi would go on to have a varied racing career, competing in IndyCar, FIA Formula E and touring cars.[2]
Filippi's first season in GP2 saw him sign with FMS International, with whom the Italian pilot had won the Italian F3000 title the season before.[3] However, having started the season with the Italian squad, and claim a best finish of fifth, Filippi would end the season at BCN Competición with a second points finish and nineteenth in the Championship.[4]
