The Sepang Round is the opening event of the 2013 GP2 Season. It is being held at the Sepang International Circuit as a support event for the Formula 1 2013 Malaysian Grand Prix. It is taking place over the weekend of March 22-24 2013.

Qualifying for the 2013 Sepang Feature Race, which took place on Friday 22nd March, saw Stefano Coletti of Rapax gain the first four points of the season by taking an impressive pole position.

Saturday's Feature race was won by Fabio Leimer of Racing Engineering. Second place was ART's James Calado, with polesitter Coletti in third. Sam Bird claimed the fastest lap.

The grid placings for Sunday's Sprint Race were decided by reversing finish positions of the top-8 from the first race. This places Stéphane Richelmi on pole for the second race. In that race Stefano Coletti won from Felipe Nasr and Mitch Evans
